Licensed data

The license covers ListofDisks compiled datasets, normalized storage-price comparisons, capacity-level indexes, price-per-terabyte metrics, and derived chart summaries published on this site.

Attribution

Attribute reused data to ListofDisks and link to the relevant page or to ListofDisks.com. If you modify the data, note that your version has been changed.

Commercial reuse

CC BY 4.0 allows commercial and non-commercial reuse, redistribution, remixing, and adaptation, provided attribution is given.

No endorsement

Reuse of the data does not imply that ListofDisks sponsors, endorses, verifies, or is affiliated with your product, analysis, or publication.

This license does not grant rights to third-party trademarks, retailer page content, retailer product images, manufacturer logos, or other material owned by retailers, manufacturers, affiliate networks, or other third parties.

External benchmark sources

Some charts include visibly labeled historical benchmark data from outside sources.

Source credit

The WD external-drive benchmark is derived from ShuckStop's public historical CSV and is labeled as external benchmark data wherever it appears.

What we publish

ListofDisks uses the ShuckStop dataset for derived charts, summaries, and commentary about historical WD external-drive pricing.

What stays separate

The raw ShuckStop rows are not part of the ListofDisks downloadable dataset and are not licensed as ListofDisks first-party market data.

No live-data merge

External benchmark data remains separate from ListofDisks compiled live offer data, product history, alerts, and current index calculations.
